Happy New Year everyone!!! I pray everyone had a beautiful new year experience and that your 2014 is filled with bold moves and life changing moments!! Speaking of change to continue on our wardrobe transformation journey I want to introduce a few of my favorite accessories; jewelry......
Here is the thing with jewelry, it is so versatile that you can take a very simple outfit and turn it into just about anything you want. You can be super trendy and not have to spend a lot of money as well which makes jewelry one of the most fun elements of your wardrobe. You can also invest in a few quality pieces that will never go out of style. I own tons of jewelry, some pieces I have yet to wear and the great thing is this; the occasion for any of these unworn pieces will present itself at just the right time.
Commit to doing something new with your accessories this year, if you typically wear small earrings, go bold with an elegant drop pair instead. If you normally wear gold, do silver instead or mix your metals, layer your necklaces, stack your bangles, get a huge statement piece that you would not normally wear.....the point is to have a great time creating a look that makes you happy! On July 1, 2013 I was given an ultimatum.....someone told me in not so many words that I was worth less than I thought I was, less than I knew I was!! I realized then as I do now that if I never put myself out there then I will never know what would happen if I tried to live my dream......and so it begun!!
On October 18, I was was given another PUSH......sometimes the pushes in life don't look anything like you think they will but when that push came I was ready, I had already booked my trip to go home and do my very first photo shoot......to live the dream!!!!
So what's the dream....I want to dress you, yes you up!! Aaaaaaand I want you to pay me to do it!! I want to look at your closet and say hey that works, that doesn't, where are your basics and then I want to go shopping with you and help you live your best, most fashionable life and according to your budget!!! Sounds good right?? But how do you know who I am and what I can do....I have to show you product right....so I did a shoot. Brought my clothes, shoes and accessories, put them on myself and a couple of models and had my genius brother take pictures.....I have been posting a few of the shots here and there but here are a few more as a preview to what is to come in 2014! Gonna dive in.......shoes first and see what happens.......at the very least I will be blogging and taking more pictures and sharing them with you....so please join me on this journey as I begin living my dream....From the Soles Up!!!
