.....in my defense, my New Year's fast will include shoes and technically speaking this is my last pair for a few months!!! Also to my credit, I have bought two pairs of color block shoes and returned them both because I thought they looked a little cartoony....this pair I believe will stick ;-)
All that to say I love these things!!! The colors are adorable and they're a wedge so I am thinking they will be comfy too. One thing I will say is this, I'm done for the year (I am flat broke)!!!! But I am open to gifts and giftcards......you know I have a problem, right??? Good as long as we agree......laugh, cry and buy and if you buy me a pair I will NOT be mad at you..."I am not my shoes but my shoes are sooooooooooo me!" - Shuzie-ism
Ok so I was just browsing the week of Black Friday sales yadda yadda.....when I happened upon the perfect shoe for the season....aka I got weddings, showers and New Year's coming up!!! Not that I will be wearing these shoes to all of the aforementioned events but they can slide through a few if I coordinate my crowds right...lol.
Anyway so I was browsing and came across these lovely purple suede with a feather and crystal embellishment and.......*sigh* just had to have them.....When you think about it, they're totally festive without being obviously Christmas and I really needed a pair of purple suede shoes with a feather and crystal embellishment......ROFL!!! It's one of those pairs that I think will join the fave shoes category and when you see them you will know why!!! Anyhoo its the Monday of a short week and I have tons to do so.......laugh, cry, buy and I will post some lovelies soon.....
So the shoe obsession continues and I have a confession to make, I also have a thing for satchels......yeah the purses....I must admit I don't know where or how it came about but it exists in a very tangible way in my closet!!! All that to say, I think I need help, want help, no but need help, yes!! I was thinking of my blog this morning and realized that my current shoe fancy runs to tiny peep toes or cobalt blue shoes......and sometimes a shoe that combines both....lol!!
My birthday shoes were cobalt blue with the tiny peep hole and then I have some Sam Edelman joints that have the tiny peep hole and lovely prints and then I found a shoe today that I feel that I simply must have and they are called Altetude!!! I mean come on, the name alone is gonna make me get them but the shape and the stem (heel) is just delicious.......*sigh* I know I know, I don't need one more pair (especially not a blue pair) but without intervention, I do believe that they will grace my closet very soon......oh I included the very lovely satchel that has recently become a part of my collection.....
Well, point me in the direction of shoeaholics annonymous please and while doing so.....laugh, cry and buy.....they're shoes out there in need of a home!!! ROFL!!
What it do Diva Loves?? Really happy to see October go and it sure did go out with a bang for us East Coast heads.......a snow storm, no power and too darned cold to wear anything cute on the feet!!!
The good news is, fall is trying to make a come back and I may be able to get a wear or two out of a couple more peep toe dynamos!! I am feel a little DOM these days and have been eyeing these Rock and Republic darlings that have been languishing in my closet all summer long.....just couldn't find the right place or event to wear them to.....these are not CHURCH shoes..lol!
They are super high and to die for......Still no event but I am going to figure out somewhere to wear these chumpies! For sure, they are definitely not dancing shoes but for an evening of just sitting and looking fab, they are going to be my first choice.

Ok so you can see where my mind is.....but Thanksgiving and Christmas are closer than you think and sparkly shoes are calling my name.....LOUDLY!!!! I know you think I am CURAZEEE for posting all sandals, but ladies, its UGGs to the party (or church in my case) and then wickedly pedicured tootsies to the world all night long, right??? Ok, as long as we have that established!!
I haven't found any to die for red ones yet (emphasis on yet) but for now I have 4 pairs of gold and black deliciousness to share and I KNOW that some of you will be rocking these for the holidays (I mean out of my 8 followers lol)!!! I love love love these but you guys know shoes and I have that love love thing going on!!!!

I have a love love relationship with Vince Camuto shoes and I refuse to be convinced otherwise. He is an awesome shoe designer that thinks of fashion and a woman's comfort at the same time. His really outstanding pumps are simple, yet elegant and they do something for the legs that I just can't explain. Every once in a while some of his offerings may be a little plain but for the most part I have never not loved a pair I have tried on!! He does some things with textures, prints and embellishments that just take his shoes a notch above other mid priced designers.
I own 7 pairs of his shoes, 4 pairs of which are 2 sets of fraternal twins.....ie: two sets of the same shoes in different colors, but the differneces in the color and texture make them well worth the double purchase. I rarely if ever purcahse doubles so VC is definitely doing something right. I have a few pairs on my wish list but I am waiting for the price to drop a bit (also another benefit, his shoes go on sale fairly quickly). They are probably some of the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn and I just don't see them around enough so ladies, go out and get you some Vince Camutos.......laugh, cry, buy and talk to you guys next week!!!
Ok so this is my first attempt at blogging, hopefully not my last....this is going to be all about shoes for now....especially since I am calling it Sole Stories by Shuzie....I hope I get some followers and meet other shoe lovers along the way........
Apparently I am addicted to shoes and maybe in some weird way this will help me to purge the need to shop by replacing it with the need to share....(yeah right)!! Anyhoo here is my current tribute to BUCKness....my Pelle Moda leopard diva extraordinaire which I have yet to wear because I cannot find a suitably BUCK event....shout out to Little C from whom I have stolen the term "BUCK". On this blog it will only be used to refer to the very hottest shoes!! Ok love y'all (who am I talking to??) and hope this blog makes you laugh cry and BUY!!!!
